Lois Nethery opened Ocean Acupuncture in Curl Curl after relocating her successful acupuncture and Chinese medicine practice from Balgowlah and Cromer in Sydney's Northern Beaches. There are several independent acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine practitioners at Ocean Acupuncture, with a range of interests and specialities. Lois has a special interest in treating women and couples for fertility issues as well as helping women with problems in pregnancy, preparing them for a successful birth and supporting them in the postnatal period (for example issues with breastfeeding, recovery from childbirth and colic in babies). Lois also enjoys treating children, mostly using a gentle no-needle technique. As well as running a general practice at Ocean Acupuncture, Lois also has a specialist sleep practice called Essential Sleep, which uses natural techniques, acupuncture and Chinese medicine to help you establish restful sleep.
