I came to Dr Liu on the high recommendation of a friend who became pregnant with her help despite en...tering early menopause. I came to Dr Liu feeling severely depleted, exhausted and losing too much blood during my cycle with intense pain that was debilitating. Dr Liu began to treat me for blood deficiency, primarily with acupuncture before moving into foods. During this treatment a regular blood test confirmed I had a very low haemoglobin of 7.5 and had iron deficiency anaemia. With Dr Liu's regular weekly to fortnightly acupuncture sessions, and following her list of blood building foods, I raised my haemoglobin within a month to 11. I was very thorough about nutrition, given I had to delay a trip as my Hb was too low to fly .. so I had incentive! She essentially stopped the cause by reducing my monthly blood loss and brought my cycle back into a normal flow with minimal pain, rapidly. After years of prescriptive pain killers, I have had 4 cycles with no need. Her skill and knowledge were the best medicine, when applied to a patient willing to make some dietary changes, she achieved excellent results. I am truly forever grateful to her.

We went to Jenny for a problem called Graves disease, it can be very serious., eyes bulging swollen... neck etc. Previously we have been seeing an oncologist, but the process is slow and is always relying on carbinazole, which seems to give a temporary solution. Anyhow Jenny knew straight away and instructed my partner to cease taking gluton, inc wheat and the products constituted from it. After taking some herbal ingredients from Jenny and a number of sessions of Accupuncture, there has been a dramatic change, the thc level is now improving and the nodule in her neck has receded to half the size, as well her heart beat has returned to a normal beat, which is under 70. We will be getting her blood results as well shortly and it will be interesting to see what the numbers will be.

Years ago, I severely damaged my back lifting a car body. It took me 15 minutes just to get into a f...riend's car to go and see Jenny Chou and 20 minutes to get out of the vehicle and hobble into her clinic. I was in extreme pain. I had never had acupuncture before. After a further 10 minutes just to get onto her table, she said "I will fix you". At this stage, all I wanted to do was call an ambulance. After 20 minutes and half a dozen acupuncture needles, Jenny said you can get up now. I hesitated and slowly got up. She said "bend over and touch the floor", amazingly I did. In fact my back was 100%. Not all people respond as well to acupuncture as I did but it was well worth trying. I think Jenny is simply amazing! - Darrall Suter
