Virtual Gastric Banding
Tessa du Toit was the first therapist to be accredited in this new technique (developed by Sheila Granger in the UK) here in WA. There has been considerable media interest in the therapy largely due to its success as reported in the UK. A recent article in The Sun in the UK outlined a trial involving the NHS, a medical practitioner and Sheila Granger where a 95% success rate was reported.
We've had a lot of interest for the Virtual Gastric Banding at the clinic. The feedback has been very positive so far and we've seen some remarkable results. We have also had interest from several of the local GP's in regard to this type of therapy for their patients. (more)
