Reiki is a Japanese healing technique involving the laying of hands lightly on different areas of the body. It is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can benefit from.

The practitioners hands do not necessarily need to touch the body in order for the Reiki energy to flow during treatment. Reiki is a "life force energy" which always flows where it is needed - it has it's own intelligence, so automatically flows where imbalances are in your body regardless of where the practitioners hands are placed.

Life force flows throughout each one of us and it keeps us alive and healthy. It flows through pathways called chakras, meridians, nadis as well as all around us in an energy field called the aura. It nourishes and supports our organs and various cells in the body. If ones "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reiki is a charge of positive energy to correct and heal any part of our body system which is unhealthy or out of balance, whether physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually.

Reiki raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the body where negative thoughts and feeling are attached. The reiki energy clears any negative energy, allowing for the "life force energy" to flow in a more natural and healthy way.

A sound is also directed by the intent and focus made during the creation of the sound. It is the intent and focus that also governs where the sound energy is transmitted.

We are all unique vibratory beings. Our body systems continually receive vibrations from the outside world, through our own or others thoughts and ideas, and from the music and sounds in our immediate environment. Everything in nature is composed of this electromagnetic energy (atoms) E.g. Gemstones, crystals, plants, air molecules, etc. Atoms are always in constant motion and all matter, including ourselves, are attracted to similarly vibrating atoms.
