Cooper Screen Academy is committed to helping Tasmanian actors learn the skills and knowledge necessary to forge successful careers in the entertainment industry, both locally and abroad.

In conjunction with Wide Angle Tasmania and with the support of Screen Tasmania, Cooper Screen Academy provides professional screen acting training for Tasmanian performers aged 14 years and up, and summer schools for younger performers.

Based in the rooms and studios of Goodwood Film Studios in Tasmania, Cooper Screen Academy's classes provide the ideal introduction to acting for the screen.

All classes develop students' individual acting skills, teaching the technical aspects of screen performance, and providing valuable information on auditions, how the industry functions, marketing yourself to the wider industry and how to actively pursue a professional performance career. (more)
