While the lessons are all structured to specific levels of experience, we reserve the right of every one of our dancers to have as much fun as possible while learning the dances and getting to know us and each other.
Many recent studies have found that the predominant activity to benefit the brain and prolong its youth is ballroom dancing.
Why does dancing help maintain the brain? The principle of Neuroplasticity hypothesizes that we continue to rewire synapses in the brain with continuous activity.
This is literally a â€oeuse it or lose it” phenomenon.
When we are dancing, we are using our cerebral cortex and hippocampus, which are critical to dancing. These areas of the brain rewire themselves based upon their use.
Anyone wishing to take up this highly beneficial pastime need only contact us, Andrew and Christine of CLASS DANCE. The lessons are enjoyable and friendly and tailored to your level of experience. They have beginner, intermediate and advanced classes in Pomona, Tewantin and Woombye. Both singles and couples are welcome.
Anyone can learn to dance, and it really is so much fun.
Keep Your Brain Alive and your Body Fit!
