Hi, I help space-challenged apartment downsizers create a happy home and lifestyle.
I am an Interior Stylist, Colour Consultant and Artist living and working on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and the founding director of Bettina Deda colour design.
I believe there is a huge opportunity in the interior design industry to cater for the growing number of empty nesters who enter the Third Age and are ready to start a new chapter of their life.
I also believe that only in a home that reflects your personal style can you truly relax and re-energise. Therefore, it is my mission to help downsizers create an inspiring interior, where they can revitalise and refine their apartment lifestyle.
From talking to clients and prospects I know that the biggest challenges of empty nesters are de-cluttering, prioritising what to keep and storage optimisation in smaller spaces.
My 5-step process Downsize with Style guides empty nesters all the way through their downsizing project. The 5 steps include De-cluttering, Finding Your Personal Style, Visualising Your Ideas, Layout Your Room and Start Decorating.
Following this process, downsizers will
•overcome procrastination and have less stress while downsizing
•Create a stylish and happy home
•Refine their apartment lifestyle
I am the author of the forthcoming book Downsize with Style, which will be a happy home guide for downsizers.
As a born organiser, I already published an ebook to successfully manage DIY home renovations, Style to Impress. What this workbook does, is very quickly develop a plan for homeowners, through a range of printout sheets, checklists and practical tips, so that they are very clear what to spend, what to buy and when to buy it whilst renovating.
