I offer assistance in the structure of a unique personalised ceremony with all legal requirements, prior to, during and after the ceremony at any location within the Perth Metropolitan area
Included in this package:
Bridal bouquet, 2 Bridesmaid bouquets
Signing tables with satin table cloths
Chairs with covers
Floral decorations and music
And of course all legal requirements met.
Your wedding day will take an enormous amount of work to ensure you have the perfect day, the dress, flowers, cake, rings, shoes, hair and make up and countless other finer details and decisions, and then there's the weather!! We cannot control everything, as much as we would like to, so let me help you with the wording of your ceremony to ensure the unforgettable moments when you speak words of love and commitment to the one you love, will be perfect.
I will ensure the ceremony reflects you and your partnerâ€TMs personalities whilst ensuring the legal aspects are covered, such as the Monitum and the Legal Vows.
There are many other ceremonies that can include family members or close friends such as Warming of the Wedding Rings where the rings move between the guests whilst receiving wishes or prayers, a Sand Blending ceremony or a Unity Candle ceremony where special family members are invited to participate, the choices are endless but not generally known about, I will introduce you to all of these choices.
I will provide you with a booklet named 'A Guide for Couples Planning to be Married by Susan Robbins, Authorised Marriage Celebrant', an easy to use guide that will outline the process of a ceremony and will make the whole process much easier and enjoyable, to ensure the ceremony is unique and meaningful to you. The booklet also covers my services and what I provide, endless readings, poems, music samples, legal requirements and fees.
There are endless options and choices of venues for wedding ceremonies in Western Australia from beautiful parks, beaches, riverside settings, your own back garden, my office, a function room, a boat or even a plane, the day is yours so 'do it your way,' letâ€TMs make it the most memorable day to remember.
Background planning to consider: an outside wedding is beautiful when it's 25 degrees but in the heat of the day in Summer in a dark suit or heavy wedding gown can be quite uncomfortable so some shade and drinking water on hand is advisable, as is wheelchair access a consideration to uneven paths that the elderly guests may find difficult.
A rehearsal is advised prior the wedding day to sign a final document, to trial the wording, to confirm standing positions, to adjust locations due to weather, it's advisable that all the Bridal party attend but if not, don't panic all will be well on the day!
Under the Marriage Act 1961 there are certain obligations that you are required to meet prior to a marriage ceremony being solemnised.
A Notice or Intended Marriage form (NOIM) is to be lodged with me in no less than a month prior to the marriage being solemnised and no more than eighteen months prior to the marriage being solemnised, I will provide you with this and I will assist you to complete the form if needed.
Each party must make a declaration as to their conjugal status and belief that there is no legal impediment to your marriage.
A marriage may not be solemnised unless at least two persons. (more)
