I'm hoping that these comments will get enough attention so that the owners will notice and do the right thing. As I'm not in Australia and they don't have a website, I encourage those of you locally who can call them and alert them to this news so they can decide how to right their wrong. I believe that with some education, it might benefit them. From the article, it indicated that the hairdresser just walked away without an explanation. It doesn't appear that they used good customer service and explained what they were doing [walking away]. If there was indeed concern for hair dropping in the baby's mouth or accidentally dropping the scissors, they should have expressed this to the customer and the same hair dresser should have come back to finish. I would have left too after being treated like that!

I’d like this post to be a WARNING to anyone considering having any kind of treatment from a place... called Glamour Hair Studio @ 1/389 Chapel Street Sth Yarra. I unfortunately suffered discrimination and was very mistreated at this salon. I have a very unfortunate skin condition called psoriasis, of which I have suffered with since I was a teenager. I do my best to control it, but as a busy mother of 2-year-old twins it’s not always the case. I have never ever been refused a hair cut because of my condition. This salon not only refused to cut it, but once the “apprentice” had already washed it and applied a “treatment” to my hair, the hairdresser then refused to wash it out or touch my hair again and made me feel like I had a contagious condition. I was forced to leave the salon with soaking wet hair and a treatment still in and walk out onto the busy Saturday afternoon traffic of Chapel Street. This was a humiliating experience and resorted me to tears. I have never ever been treated this way by anyone, and I am still in shock that this rude, ill-mannered man could treat anyone this way. Please don’t go to this salon in the fear that he may treat anyone else in the same manner he treated me.
