The Astor Theatre

by Chris on 28 Jul 2011

"I went last Thursday to Astor because they showed both the Hangover films together in the one session. It was really great. The Astor still has that old school cinema look that it's always had, and also has the atmosphere, or something, of an old school cinema. The seats are really comfortable, and it's a really great place to watch a movie. " (more)

Classic Cinema

by Chris on 22 Jul 2011

"The Classic Cinema in Elsternwick is a really nice cinema to go to. I went to see the Trip, and while it was a highly entertaining and funny movie, it was made all better by the fact that the staffs were very friendly and very helpful. I will certainly be going back there. " (more)

Village Cinemas: Crown

by Jack on 05 Jul 2011

"I went to see the Hangover 2 at the Gold Class facilities at the Village Cinemas at Crown. The Gold Class cinema's there are the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. On arrival, we were sat at a table by the bar and a waitress explained everything to us, and asked whether there was anything we needed. It was very friendly and very helpful, as I had never been to Gold Class before. The seats were also extremely comfortable. The downside to this is that there is a risk that you can fall asleep and miss the movie. " (more)
