Having competed in several sports at a high level and previously worked within the fitness industry for 10 years as a Fitness Instructor and Personal trainer, I became interested in Massage and decided to pursue this interest further. I completed a Diploma in Remedial Massage at Southern School of Natural Therapies in 2008.
I have been working as a Remedial Massage Therapist for the past 4 years and have worked on all kinds of people with varying complaints.
I have had great success with members of the general public who are office workers and have experience neck/shoulder issues due to stress/tension or postural issues. I have also previously worked with athletes from varying sports including running, swimming, triathlon, netball, baseball and most recently Crossfit.
My objective is to help you resolve musculoskeletal pain and postural issues so that the little niggles/knots you may be feeling do not develop further into ongoing headaches or serious injury. By receiving regular massage I can help you maintain your body at the optimum level and keep you connected to the things you love doing most.
In my practise I use a combination of Deep tissue, trigger point therapy, glass cupping, sports massage and if required Fascial Movements taping to help correct postural imbalances.
I am available for seated Corporate Massage treatments, where I will come into your local business and perform 10-15min seated massage on members of your staff.
I am a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapist (AAMT) and also a member of the most common Health Funds for rebates on your treatment.
Massage must be made by appointment only. (more)
