Great but one major flaw with the new packaging...it doesn't close properly!! This makes the bread g...o stale more quickly and consequently I won't buy it anymore. Your packaging really needs fixing country life. Please sort it out soon so we can enjoy your gf bread for longer. Its a real waste of money otherwise.

I have pre-ordered my Christmas cakes and paid. It was particularly important, as it is also the fir...st one without my grandmother, who traditionally would make the cakes. Hootsens closed up shop on Christmas Eve without bothering to make a courtesy call. Having ruined our Christmas lunch, we were left with no options. They did not even apologise. They refused to refund the money. It was very bad. I live locally and I will never go back.

We made one of our co-workers go past on the way to work this morning. We got some custard doughnut...s and empanadas and they were delicious!! Nice creamy custard and the empanadas filling is so tasty. Will definitely be going back for more thank you!

DO NOT EVER COME HERE I don't really write reviews but on this occasion i thought i would. I will n...ever ever ever go back to this Degani Bakery Cafe again!!! I live in Templestowe and would rather travel out of the area then eat here again. Not only did the waiter that served us have that "I don't want to be here" attitude, she got 2 of our orders wrong and had to be sent back. One order did not come out again and after 20 mins we asked where our food was and we were informed that the owner had cancelled our order due to the fact he thought we were "deceiving" him. So the owner did not blame his rude waitress who didn't care what we said he blamed his customers. Our bill then came to $83.00 so we did not sit there just ordering coffees we were ordering big meals and lots of drinks and desserts. Instead of blaming his incompetent staff he then had a screaming match with 2 of the women that were sitting at out table in front of anyone. I find that so rude and disrespectful and most importantly we are not 16 year old kids we are 30 + year old adults. This is insulting and ridiculous. When did Australia forgot about customer service?
