I found the service at Newstead to be outstanding. I am a very particular - actually quite fussy - r...ose grower and the quality of the stock at Newstead is just the way I like it - top quality. The range is varied and I find the plants to be very lush and healthy, disease free, grafted onto strong stock and always true to the label - something I have found is not always the case at other nurseries. The prices are also very competitive. Every rose I have ever purchased at Newstead has grown well, giving me such pleasure. Nowadays I only buy my roses from Newstead. As a newcomer to Melbourne, I'm setting up a backyard of fruit trees. I found Morrison Bros to offer... a much tailored service with great help from explaining fruit trees' needs right down to loading my car with purchases. They were also the only Nursery in the area that had supplies of most varieties of fruit tree, even out-of-season. Finally, I was most impressed at being able to order a ladyfinger banana tree and being given great advice on the necessary soil culture and planting position to cope with Melbourne frosts.

Take a trip up to Haig Nurseries. It is well worth the trip. These guys have a lot of knowledge and ...love talking to you about your gardening ideas and their recommendations of what would be great in your garden as for prices, great range of sizes and plant varieties. Go on check it out, you will not be disappointed!
