Established in 1895 C A Stephan Pty Ltd is a fourth generation Australian owned company. Founded by Carl Albert Stephan as a retail saddler in Albion (Brisbane). The company made harness for delivery vans, lorries, horse drawn trams, and wagons as well as for sulkies & buggies for personal transport.
As the company grew over the years, so did the range of saddler and leather goods. Today we manufacture a smaller range of saddler with the emphasis on quality. All of our saddler and leather goods are made using the highest quality leather and fittings available. Hand crafted by experienced tradesmen, some with over 35 years experience.
