Two different styles of Jazz classes available for students of all abilities from beginners through to adults with prior dancing experience. Modern Jazz & Fitness class starts with gentle stretching exercises combining Pilates, Yoga, Alexander Technique and Floor Barre that are designed to improve suppleness and tone muscles without strain or injury. The class then moves onto some core Jazz steps and dance combinations, finishing with a routine. All exercises are demonstrated in a step-by-step process and are safe for a range of body types and fitness levels.Fun & Funky Jazz was created to meet a demand for an Adult Jazz class that was not Hip Hop or Modern Jazz but something exhilarating and different. This is a fantastic class offering some dynamic fresh dance moves to the latest popular music. It is high energy, incorporating funky new steps based on strong technical foundations and will really get your heart pumping.
