Automated External Defibrillation (AED) training is delivered to be consistent with unit manufacturer and current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. Training is provided for the participant to develop the skills and knowledge to apply and operate an AED until the arrival of Emergency Medical Services. AED refresher training for trained persons should be undertaken on an annual basis as a minimum.
