Classes are conducted on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Howarth Hall at Upwey Primary School, Darling Avenue Upwey.
Instructors are highly qualified and experienced, the senior instructor having over 30 years teaching experience of students from 7 to 70 years old. Qualifications include Diploma of Sport Coaching (Martial Arts) and Diploma of Sport Development (Martial Arts).

Back in the 1960s, Tae Kwon Do was incorrectly referred to as Korean Karate but it is truly a modern art of self defence with greater emphasis on the legs than Karate. This makes it especially useful for women who, generally, have greater power in their legs than upper body. (more)
