My opinion - consider an alternative company unless you wish to be treated with derision, mistrust a...nd lack of empathy. Support a company who treats it's clients with respect - one that considers your business as a positive - not just a burden. My short story - I booked weekend airport transfers for an international business delegation. First warning bell was the demmand to pre-pay - a first for me when using VHA type vehicles. I offered card number over the phone but he wanted email with details. Needing to secure the vehicles quickly and efficiently I agreed. I sent all the relevant details - including company logo, credit card details etc. By 2pm booking confirmed by return email - all good so far. Unknown to me I had the card number wrong - I'm not the worlds greatest typist. At 7:25pm I recieve a missed call from the operator of the company. By 7:29pm I received an email with subject line "Incorrect credit card number" and in body of the text one line "booking cancelled" No retort, no please call - just "booking cancelled" with a "king regards" signature. SO next morning I rang the company - and detailed my offence at cancellation with such short notice. At no stage was the operator interested in attempting to resolve the situation other than stating "Oh the booking is not cancelled - this is our way of getting a reaction from you" The operator was extremely rude, and ended the call with a hang up. I even went the next step - sending an email describing my issue with the attitude, informing of my intent to use an alternative operator. I also gave them the right of reply prior to placing a google review - I offered the same timeframe offered to me before cancellation of the booking - 4 minutes. They responded!! - with a threat to take me to court!! No attempt to rectify, just more aggression. I have an alternative company - half the price, flexible, no pre-payment demmands even a freindly voice at the end of the line.
