We are a small business based in Jindalee, Queensland. We have a passion for decadent cakes, cake artistry and cake staging.

Our beautiful outlet at Jindalee provides inspiration and all of your favourite cake decorating products however if you are unable to come into store... simply log on and place your order for fast fulfilment and despatch.

We offer price guarantee's so if you find a cheaper price advertised elsewhere, we will beat it by 5%. We also offer great advice either on the phone or in-store, including free demonstrations.

We promote local cake artists by offering them a fantastic loyalty program, a monthly buttercream and fondant featured cake program, a cake consultation area and ability to display their portfolio and space to run their scheduled training.

Very disappointed. I got married last week on Friday 6th March and ordered my wedding cake a couple of months prior to the big day and chose to pick up my cake the day before. I gave Katherine all my details, dates etc and was told the cake would be ready in the morning on Thursday 5th March. I told the owner (Katherine) I would be there on the Thursday morning at 11.30am to pick up my cake in which she said would be fine as they are normally done by 9am. I arrived close to 12pm Thursday to pickup my cake and was told it was not finished. I said that I needed to have it that day as I had to take it to the reception venue to have it dressed with flowers for my wedding the next day and to put it in the coolroom while I set up the venue. I was heading there straight after picking up the cake. I ordered a white chocolate mud cake with simple buttercream icing so didn't understand why it was not finished. No decoration was required as I was doing that myself. I was told by Katherine that she was a staff member down that week so could I come back as late as possible to pick it up later that afternoon. This was hugely frustrating as I had guests and family flying in from interstate in the arvo. When I asked what time she could get it done by she said no earlier than 3pm. Although a little frustrating I understand things happen so left expecting it to be finished later that day. I got stuck at my reception centre at New Farm setting up for my wedding in the arvo and tried ringing the shop at 4pm to say I was on my way to Jindalee to get the cake but was stuck in traffic. I arrived at 4.40pm only to find the shop closed. Aaaargh. No phonecall or communication to say they closed at 4pm on weekdays or to even check how far away I was as she would be closing at 4pm. Being a bridal cake I thought they would wait or at least ring me as it was not my fault it wasn't ready that morning. This business has no message bank so no way to contact them after 4pm other than email. I emailed straight away hoping for a reply. It took me 1hr in traffic to get there and couldn't believe the shop had closed without even calling me to see how far away I was. It then took me another hour to get back from Jindalee in peak hour. I received no reply or email and after a sleepless night I rang first thing to ask for the cake to be delivered. The phone rang out until after 9am where I finally spoke to Katherine. I explained my shock at them closing the afternoon before. No apology, just told, "Wow must have just missed you. " I explained that I would have to have them now deliver the cake as I didn't have anyone who could get out there to pick it up. I explained I needed it by 12pm due to it being my wedding day and my florist would now have to dress flowers on it there in the cool room when she dropped off my flowers to the venue . I was told can it be as late as possible. After the previous day I said no it needs to be by 12pm. I was then charged half price delivery due to it not being ready the day before. I agreed as I needed a cake but don't believe I should have been charged delivery at all as none of this had been my fault. Thinking all would be fine unfortunately it was not. Fortunately I asked Katherine for her mobile number to give my florist just in case. The cake still had not arrived bt 1.30pm. My florist rang to chase it up, only to be told it was in transit and she should ring the delivery driver herself. Needless to say my florist was not impressed and said that was not her job to chase up the cake they made and were instructed to deliver. She was then to be told that there was an accident in transit and the cake had been damaged and needed to return to the shop to be fixed. The cake was then returned much later that afternoon to the venue a second time after my wedding ceremony had taken place and was once again damaged in transit. Thank god the chefs at the reception centre hunted the delivery driver and chose to try and fix it themselves. They said they would not even accept a cake like that normally but had no choice but to take it at such a late hour. When I arrived at 6.30pm to our reception that night I saw that there was no cake on the cake stand and after enquiring I was told the drama that had occurred by my florist and friend at my wedding. I'm not sure if the cake was never made in the first place or if it had been forgotten or what. COMMUNICATION Katherine is all I expected. Luckily I wasn't a neurotic bride. I am a hairdresser and have also worked in the hospitality industry for many years so understand things happen, but no phone call or anything. Very bad form. Lastly the cake WAS NOT white chocolate mudcake. It was a butter cake from what I can gather and it was dry and overcooked. Two of the layers were nearly burnt looking. Very overcooked. My family were the only ones honest enough to tell me how terrible it tasted. Oh well, sadly I will be telling all my clients never to use this business as it was not only very unprofessional with service, but a terrible tasting cake. No apology or communication made either so quite disappointing really. Also suggest you get message bank and make it possible for people to contact you before 9am and after 4pm. I don't know any businesses in Brisbane that close at 4pm on Thursday and definately none that say come back as late as possible without thinking to inform the customer that they close at 4pm. Very disappointing. My day was beautiful but sadly cake experience was not. The cake itself was quoted at $90. As the saying goes If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. I ended up paying $137.50 for a damaged cake that was not the cake I requested and a day and a half late. Would have gone to the cheesecake shop if I had have known the drama that would occur.
