Weslo commenced operation in the 1960's and has continued to operate and grow into the 21st century as Weslo Staff. The highly successful alliance of Weslo Crowd Control Pty Ltd, Adelaide Commercial Theatres Pty Ltd and Weslo Holdings Pty Ltd resulted in the inevitable formal amalgamation of the entities in 2000 to form Weslo Staff Pty Ltd, a stronger and singularly focused company.

Today, Weslo is the major supplier of Security personnel to almost all major events staged in South Australia. Weslo continues to focus on the implementation of new technologies and continues the delivery of the highest quality services. For over 23 years, Weslo Staff has had a highly enviable reputation for its non-violent approach to security and Weslo personnel regularly receive the highest accolades about its professionalism.

We pride ourselves on our ability to provide high quality service to our clients for both single events (for example, large and small music festivals or sporting events) and ongoing venue and property security (for example, Hindmarsh Stadium, AAMI Stadium, Adelaide Convention Centre, Coles and K Mart).

To extend our professional services in 2008 Weslo Staff purchased a Patrol Dog Company to increase the range of service we can offer.

Weslo Staff uses a range of event specific new technology equipment options to offer to its clients to improve their venue management programs. These include Automatic Entry systems with hand held scanners, Point Of Sale units printing unique barcode identifiers, ATM machines and cash management equipment. Further options are being developed to assist membership loyalty card options and a range of other new technology systems.


Weslo Staff are the Crowd Management event experts in South Australia, we handle the event based security operations and general staff requirements using a five (5) step project methodology:

Event Planning;



Bump-out; and

Post event

Weslo has a committed focus on the project management of the contract and the event.

Our planning team has extensive knowledge in a wide range of events and during the planning stage will address all of the likely scenarios that could be experienced. Once the completed scope of works has been defined, our staff selection team using state of the art software to match the various roles required with the best team members for the role. Site tours and training form an integral part of the pre-event phase.

During bump-in, our expertise in managing events, handling traffic movements and general security functions of asset protection and access control for required personnel.

@event structure and control provides the necessary framework to deliver the required outcomes. A structure of Staff Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders and operational staff deliver an integrated solution for our Clients. With larger events a headquarters is established with a Weslo Event Operations Control (EOC) centre, open during the entire event with communications through portable radio and mobile phone networks.

We understand that the event is not over until a successful Bump-out has been achieved and again asset protection is high on the priority list along with traffic movement and access management. Our team will assist in the staged removal of any equipment, vehicles and people to meet the agreed requirements.

Weslo also looks to facilitate any improvements that can be made and works with our Clients to review the service delivery and make and received recommendations for future events.

Our project methodology ensures that the Client is actively involved at all stages of the solution delivery.
