Hi Trevor. Please tell the truth when publicly commenting on our buisness. Let everyone know that we did Infact send our tradesmen out to rectify one of your two complaints that were legitimate. In which your mother in-law (who was very happy with the job) sent him away as per your request (which cost us a call out fee of $120) until we fixed your second complaint (which was not legitimate) you had been explained both by our store manager and head offices manager (who told our store via phone and email) that your complaint of the scotia not covering the architraves was not recommended as the architraves is a separate piece of timber than the skirting, therefore the scotia as in all Jobs we install and all other stores install, stops at the end of the skirting as the architrave being a separate piece of timber will expand and contract differently, causing the scotia to pop... In which case you would complain when happens. It is for this reason that our professional installer and all of our professional installers do not finish the scotia like this as they are the ones who have to warrant it. Your uneducated belief was demonstrated by the photos you sent which are for solid timber and not for laminate, as we tried to explain to you, but you would not listen. Laminate expands twice as much as timber. However, due to you not excepting this. We offered for the installer to perform your request (at your cost) directly to the installer and not our company as it costs him directly to replace all scotia to perform this task, in which we would require you to sign off on. Also due to it not being a fault, but a request outside normal installation. However you were not happy to except this and threatened our company. I would be very interested to know as to why during the sales period of your mother in-laws dealing with our store on three seperate occasions, why you took no part in any phase of the sale, yet found it so important to put uneducated opinions into her contract? I may ad that Both your mother inlaws daughter and grandson were both very grateful for how we did not take an initial deposit from your mother-law from her house at quote stage as she is elderly, and personally thanked our store manager for asking her to bring a family member in to pay deposit so she wasn't handing money over as she is elderly. In future dealings, I suggest you be involved in all stages of any dealings so if their is anything you would expect that is outside of normal installation processes and in-which warrants can not be provided and is against a professionals advice. What a load of crock Everything single thing I stated was the truth You were asked by My Elderly Mother in law to deal with me but you refused because my name was not on the contract, nothing was ever repaired so that's a total lie! You never addressed any of the issues, My Mother in law was not happy with the job but was intimidated by you and thus asked me to handle the matter which is why I stepped in (why else would I go through this rubbish) you continued to contact her even when you were asked to deal with me!!!!! The job was shoddy and you refused to meet me there to show/discuss the problems! It was the finishing off that was the issue and I've subsequently had it assessed by a number of your competitors as well as the ATFA (who you are not and never have been a member of yet you stated it was done to their standard), who all agree it should have been repaired to a better finish than it was left There was splits in the wood, the ends were not finished off neatly and damage was done to the new kitchen cabinets (all the problems were detailed and photographed as proof and shown to you but you totally dismissed them) Your contractor was sent away (once) as he would not do the job without some sort of a payment when it clearly was a warranty issue and he advised me he was not being paid by you so no service fee was paid to him (another lie by you) As far as saying I'm "uneducated" well I think you only need to read your bad spelling and contradictory statements in you reply to work out who the one with a lack of education here I spoke to your franchise group manager and he was totally sympathetic to the situation up until your father (who owns that business and obviously employed you) contacted and made the franchise group manager (who doesn't have any power to take action as each store is self owned, his words) stop communicating with me, (I still have all his emails) You wouldn't last five minutes in that position if you were employed by a more reputable company and weren't handed your position For the sake of a $50 worth of wood that could have been fixed quite easily Great management practices! The only threat I made was to let people know about your shonky work practices. which I did and I'll continue to advise anyone who is looking for a flooring cover not to use Choices Dandenong as this is the sort of treatment you'll receive!
