Swansea Motor Inn has a range of accommodation including budget motel rooms, suites and self-contained apartments suited for family holidays on Tasmania's East Coast. If you're a Member of Golden Chain Motels then discount accommodation prices are available.

Our location in Swansea Tasmania is simply spectacular. Most rooms have ocean views overlooking Great Oyster Bay with the Freycinet Peninsula in the distance. The beach front provides a great place for kids to swim and play. It is not unusual to see dolphins and even whales in the right season.

Swansea Tasmania is an easy drive from Bicheno, the Bay of Fires and Freycinet National Park with amazing bushwalks to locations like Wineglass Bay. Fishing, kayaking, and water sports of all kinds are popular. There is a golf course near the motel and of course you can walk to everything Swansea has on offer.

Swansea is halfway between Launceston and Hobart on the East Coast of Tasmania - that's a 90 minute drive to either location. (more)
