"Go, you'll love it! I fully recommend Spirit Rising Yoga and have enjoyed a long standing association with the school and Brie (owner) as a yoga pupil. "I have tried a few different yoga teachers and schools but I found my experience at Body Yoga to be the most enjoyable. The teachers are very passionate and knowledgeable about yoga. They genuinely care about their students. As it is a purpose-built studio, it has ropes on the walls which aid some of the poses. Equipment, such as blocks, chairs, mats, bolsters, blankets, etc., are also provided. I found that as I became more flexible with my body, so too with my mind. And these have extended and improved all aspects of my life. The studio is my little haven away from the many stress of the world. It is a place where I can re-focus and re-balance, and just be me. "This is a Buddhist temple, but very open to everyone. The only Zen temple in Perth, not big, but very good feeling. The monks there were very friendly but focused and the Zen gardens were terrific too! " (more)
