We have recently moved into a new office on level 5 in one of the business towers in Chatswood that has a wall of windows and looks out over Sydney.

What will I be doing?

We are looking to hire a full-time individual who has a passion for talking to business owners and making sales. You will be pro-actively finding new customers for StartLocal using a variety of research methods as well as speaking with inbound sales enquiries.

If you are a guru at spotting business opportunities who has a background in phone-based B2B selling then you are the kind of person we are looking for. We love our customers and we are looking for someone who will happily share in that affair.

You will be creating relationships with a large cross-section of Australian businesses and, as such, you will need to be an experienced, fast-moving, proactive and focused sales person.

Can you give me some specifics?

We are looking for someone with:

• At least three years of proven B2B phone sales experience
• Experience cold-calling into a variety of types of local and regional businesses, with evidence of previous success.
• Excellent problem solving skills and a terrific ability to communicate
• A polite, creative, enthusiastic phone manner
