McGrath Automotive is owned & operated by Brad & Keith McGrath. Between them they have over 40 years experience in the automotive industry.
They purchased the business from Garry Smith in September 2000 and traded as Autogas & Mechanical until they changed the name to McGrath Automotive in July 2013 to more reflect the new direction they were about to undertake.
Brad completed his automotive mechanical apprenticeship with privately run workshops & a new car dealership. His experience learning with varying employers is invaluable. He is also fully licensed to work on LPG installations & repairs as is the workshop.
Brad & the team are continually updating their skills through industry run workshops & many hours of online research.
Keith has extensive experience in sales & management in the automotive industry, having managed a major automotive supply business in Townsville and worked within another automotive supply business in purchasing & sales. He has owned & operated other businesses in Townsville since 1998.
The workshop is equipped with the latest in computer scan tools and other specialist diagnostic equipment. It has all the tools & equipment to complete most repairs to your vehicle. (more)
