The professionalism and price adjustments are questionable. Service was adequate when they get arou...nd to dealing with you. Service turnaround time for fixes were poor. Explanation of issue was inadequate and not descriptive in terms of what exactly needed to be fixed. They did not provide a itemized list of components checked nor recommendations. 2013-APR-19 Brought Laptop in to repair screen. Quoted $150.00 if it was the cable and then $350.00 if the screen had to be replaced. I agreed since the work involved would be quarter the price of replacement. 2013-APR-20 Received an SMS in regards to the work. Motherboard fault and quoted $695.00 for the replacement of the motherboard. I replied that I would discuss Monday. Received another SMS a few hours later that they would lower the price to $595.00 I still stated I would discuss Monday. 2013-APR-22 Went into the store personally, waited for 15 minutes before being acknowledged. Stated multiple times that I do not want to pay $695.00 for the repairs and would just like my laptop back in the condition that I had it in. It would be put back together by tomorrow. 2013-APR-23 Went in to pickup my laptop. Waited for 45 minutes, because the repair guy was running behind and two of the staff members went out. Charged $99.00 for the privilege, but was still adamant that $695.00 was a great price to fix it. Here is a description of the service Start Quote - 1. Display Chip Faulty (Need to be replaced?) 2. LED Screen Chip Maybe Faulty (Replace Screen or Chip) - End Quote Would not recommend to any of the clients I work closely with or family members. Always like to support local, especially the IT industry, but this store seriously needs to lift it's game.

I took my laptop to this place about 6 months ago and it still is not repaired. When i call then, th...ey give different excuses to why it isn't fixed. They tell you they will call you back and don't. Quite honestly. they do not care about customer service at all. i don't even know how they are still in business.

Comstech was great when I dropped my PC in for repair. They were very polite and explained everythin...g in a fashion that I could understand. My repair was completed in a few days and the amount charged was very fair. They also supply many other services like ADSL and phone which I am going to transfer my service to so I have a local contact point for all my IT needs.
