"Thanks for the experience Rob. I was like a kid again doing something that I love & of course is in one's blood. It had been 8 long years since clocking up around 800 hrs flying time and I was thrilled, excited, full of energy before and after my flight. I never thought I'd enjoy a flight in a Jabiru as much as I did. My experience with you was awe inspiring. Thank you. Cheers Bob " (more)

"The best Flight training school in Bankstown Airport! "
Flight training is a course of study that is used when learning to pilot an aircraft with the purpose of honing basic piloting skills. Although there are many types of aircraft in the world, most of the principles used to piloting them are almost the same.
Flight training involves a combination of theoretical learning conducted on the ground and practical exercise conducted in the air. The first stages of learning involve the use of a specialized training aircraft which are design for benign handling characteristics and lower costs. A flight simulator is an important tool to train pilots at much lower cost and risk than actual flying. The number of hours of flight training for private pilots range from 40 to 80 hours depending on the program and type of aircraft chosen.
The most common lessons taught at flight schools include:
In order for a pilot to update their license to allow them to fly a different type of aircraft, he or she would have to undergo a process called type conversion which typically involves cockpit and aircraft familiarization to allow the pilot to become more comfortable with the type. A series of test flights will also be done to become accustomed with the aircraft.
The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is the government agency that leads the country?s education and workplace training as well as transition to work.
