"Nicholas Wilkes treated me about 12 years ago by identifying narrowing of some heart arteries and potential heart attack and fixing it by means of angioplasty (stents). This was performed at Brisbane Water Private and was totally successful. Some 7 years later, I suffered a cardiac arrest in the street and was saved by emergency, on the spot resuscitation by an anaesthetist (luckily from St Vincents hospital!), then by a heart surgeon at Royal North Shore with stents to other arteries which had become blocked. I cannot adequately or sufficiently thank all of those mentioned above and their colleagues for their collective fantastic life-saving treatment, but I would like to take this opportunity to specifically thank Dr Nicholas Wilkes for his immediate close attention to my cardiac health and his foresight in arranging and personally carrying out the successful treatment of my condition.
