Cscan is an independently owned and operated radiology clinic that was set up with primary focus on the patient, and secondarily on the referring doctor/allied health practitioner. The medical imaging equipment is first class, as are the staff. The patient amenities are arguably some of the best in country. The prices are extremely fair, almost all medicare eligible studies and procedures are bulk billed.
There are two MRI scanners. One conventional scanner which has advanced imaging applications not available to most, such as Liver Iron Quantification and Knee Cartilage mapping. The limb/extremity scanner is unique and the only one in the southern hemisphere. It is a full 1.5 Tesla scanner but designed for arms and legs. It is quieter and more comfortable for those studies than the conventional scanner.
The CT is a high quality low dose unit which uses the latest technology to bring consistent reliable CT scanning at over 40% lower dose than conventional CT scanners.
The Xray is digital as are all the other machines. That means your images are never lost. A quick phone call allows for a reprint of any medical imaging done in the past.
Ultrasound is first class, with dedicated machines for musculoskeletal and obstetric imaging. (more)
