At North Shore Physio & Pilates, we are committed to providing you with premium rehabilitative services to assist manage a successive return to pre-injury status with preventative solutions and long-lasting results that align with your fitness goals. Our interest in functional movement biomechanics formed from our studies in the Pilates Method:
* Ensures assessments are set to the highest example in order to accurately diagnose your injury, identify all its potential causes and from that knowledge, construct an individually tailored exercise program which encompasses much of our injury preventative strategy.
* Allows us to strive for excellence with our manual treatment techniques which are movement specific and therefore a more efficient approach in addressing the structures involved with your movement impairment compared to traditional therapeutic modalities (e.g. ultrasound).
* We pride ourselves with our rehabilitation classes which combines the Pilates Method principles with structured gym-based exercises as we understand that safe and effective strength building requires absolute movement control.
* We will regularly liaise with your sports/orthopaedic/neurological specialists, GP, allied health practitioner (e.g. exercise physiologist, chiropractor/osteopath) or personal trainer in order to stay on top of your health management and ensure that progress is continual and consistently aligned with your fitness goals
Our clinic is conveniently located in Castlecrag, 10 minutes from Sydney CBD, and we offer mobile physiotherapy home visit services to clients in the lower North Shore (Willoughby, Chatswood, Northbridge, Castle Cove and Cammeray). (more)
Our Rehab Pilates is run by a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with accredited 2-years of training in the Pilates Method. Their comprehensive knowledge in human anatomy and movement biomechanics allows them to identify the areas of weakness and instability in your body that affects your joint inflexibility and physical performance in all aspects of life. They are able to construct an individually tailored exercise programme to address these underlying issues, modify exercises according to your injury history or chronic condition (e.g. osteoporosis) and provide you with specific instructions during your workout to ensure that you are exercising the right muscles.
