Anna Bradshaw

"I suffer from depression and anxiety and am currently seeing Anna. I have been seeing Anna for years now. The first time I met Anna, I was in hospital. I was a complete mess. My life was completely shattered. I felt I had no hope. I didn't think it would ever be possible for me to return to my normal self. I never did return to my normal self. Instead, I grew to become a wiser, independent and more emphatic individual with Anna's constant encouragement and support. Anna has always been there, coaching me and believing in me. The last episode I suffered was hard. I didn't think I could ever get out of it. I remember not being able to have the energy to even talk. Anna was there throughout the entire time. I knew it was hard for her. I was constantly needing reassurance and took up a lot of her time which I feel guilty for now, and never once did she shut me away. During that episode, I lost a friend and a psychiatrist that couldn't cope with my condition. Anna, on the other hand, supported me as much as she could and I knew she wouldn't even consider giving up on me. She had faith in me. I am not sure why she does but the fact that she has faith in me makes me feel that I have something to offer to this world, that I am worth living for. She saved me, literally, on several occasions. I honestly wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. And the funny thing is, I don't think she even knows how much of an impact she has made in my life. Anna is professional, trustworthy, kind, wise and bursting with positive energy. I truly believe she will do her utmost best to help you. She is of one a kind and one of the very few people I look up to. Let her help you. I wish you all well. " (more)

Carl Webster

"Carl is an excellent therapist. I have been seeing him for 2 years. I've seen a number of therapists in the past but have generally been disappointed and consequently decided therapy was a waste of time. However, Carl was really there for me at a time of great stress in my life. He helped me find my way out of a really bad situation I felt trapped in. Since then, Carl has proved tremendously helpful as a personal therapist, and as a supervisor, now that I'm an intern counsellor myself. He is a kind, sensitive, intelligent person with a lot of life experience. I've read that the most important thing in therapy is finding a counsellor who makes you feel understood, respected and cared about. Carl is that type of therapist. I never feel as if he's just spouting techniques from a manual. He doesn't avoid emotions or treat them like something you need to rationalise your way out of, as so many therapists do these days. Instead he helps you get in touch with and learn to live with your feelings, as well as looking at where they came from like childhood issues. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good therapist. " (more)

"I highly recommend Oasis health. After suffering severe migraines for almost 20 years and after several scans, MRI's and various specialists I was advised to see Lucy Scotts as a last resort. Well, I wish I had seen her from the beginning. Lucy's care and attention to detail with dealing with individual cases is quite remarkable. After 3 sessions with Lucy, no more migraines and I am thinking clearer as well. All of the staffs at Oasis are lovely and caring and really quite good at what they do. "They offer great service. I came to counselling because things in my life were in a mess and only getting worse. My husband and I were estranged, my teenagers were off the rails and I was really distressed. The best thing for me so far, has been to realise that I am not responsible for making someone else happy but I am responsible for my own thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
