How we think is a reaction to how we feel, to heal our thinking we need to work with and heal our feelings.Reconditioning and retraining our thinking mind may assist with functioning, but it does not heal the wounds or troubles of the feeling mind and body.

More and more people are coming to accept what science is now understanding that what we feel influences what we think which influences the biochemistry within the body. In working with natural mind body medicine, it is necessary to engage the feeling heart-mind along with the rational intellect. Understanding the human being holistically is both an art and a science. The feeling mind seems to provide the raw foundation for all conscious and unconscious experience including thought, belief, and behaviour. It turns out that feeling is more fundamental than thought. As we have evolved, many of us have lost the ability to sense our feelings and trust them, perhaps feeling torn and fragmented, suffering sometimes in both mind and body.
