Counselling Style

I have a client focused/holistic counselling approach that is both constructive and positive. It is non-judgmental, and I work with you in an empathetic manner to help solve problems. Almost all problems can be solved, I believe. I tailor make my counselling approach according to your needs, as you and your needs are unique. Anything said in a counselling session is completely confidential.

I can help you with Conflict Resolution, Family Dynamics, Relationship Problems, Parenting, Adolescent Issues, Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Eating Disorders, Weight Loss, Self Esteem, Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Sexual Issues, Bullying, and Grief/Loss.

Techniques/Therapies

Main techniques/therapies which I have found over many years to be most effective are: Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Neuro linguistic Programming (NLP), Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), and Life Coaching; which includes focusing on a healthy diet, exercise, meditation, and achieving a happier life through satisfying mental and physical needs.

Qualifications:

I have a university degree in psychology, as part of a Bachelor of Social Science, and have over 10 years counselling experience. Have undertaken courses in Family Therapy, Child Psychology, NLP, CBT, Hypnotherapy, Relationship Counselling, and Life Coaching. In addition, I am a prolific reader of psychological and "New Age" research and I am constantly updating and evaluating the techniques and methods I use. (more)
