Rebecca's focus is on supporting and empowering people to improve and maintain their wellbeing, and to achieve their goals.
Rebecca works with a range of clients, and has experience in the treatment of anxiety (including general anxiety, panic disorder/panic attacks, and post traumatic stress disorder), depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, adjustment disorders, major life transitions, work/occupational stress, relationship breakdown/difficulties, and workplace bullying. Additionally Rebecca provides careers assessment and coaching, and coaching for individuals pursuing personal and professional development.
Rebecca adapts the therapeutic approach to suit the client and the presenting issues. Some of the approaches Rebecca utilises include; cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), coaching, and conflict resolution.
