We were quite disappointed by the service provided by H&D Roofing. While the quote was not the l...owest, the owner detailed many of the repairs they thought were important which impressed me. This included re-pointing and fixing tiles, replacing some rotten barge boards etc as well as new guttering and downpipes. We were disappointed for many reasons, and it was made clear to me when the job started that they felt the job was under quoted. They failed to replace the rotten barge boards, only fixing a couple and leaving me the timber to do the remaining ones. They did not do the pointing as was detailed to me. They used pvc pipe to take rainwater along the side of the house to the water tank where we had paid for proper downpipes which have now started to sag which was the reason for their need to be replaced with steel downpipes. They also combined pipes into one to do this where there were two separate pipes previously to handle the volume of water. Now the gutters overflow in storms. They also dropped cement for use on the tiles into one fo the downpipes which quickly blocked as a result as the concrete quickly caught leaves and totally blocked. They failed to put on the bottom part of the downpipes to kick the water outwards from the house into the drains as promised and they had to come back to do this after complaint. Additionally the guttering they used was an older style with visible brackets. Though this was not confirmed with them, I was disappointed that they did not use modern guttering. They also charged us for 8 sections of downpipe which were over ordered and they did not use. We gained a partial refund for these. Overall we were very unhappy with the result. They were more expensive than other quotes and the job we feel was never performed as promised. Damien

Have offered me the best quote to replace my concealled old galvanised iron gutters, downpipes &... capping with colorbond gutters, etc ...so will get them to do work...they also offfered me a Senior's Discount. After job is completed I'll post another review.

I had a roof leak, Dean fixed it and has not leaked since. I called him back for a roof restoration ...and he did a fantastic job, and very good prices too. Highly recommended.
