SGS Newburn Lab is dedicated providing a complete service for the minerals industry analytical requirements.
SGS Perth Lab is also able to utilise the resources of SGS Australia to provide additional support and services either in conjunction with analytical testing or as a separate project.

The laboratory holds both ISO 9002 certification and ISO Guide 25 accreditation (through NATA in Australia). This latter endorsement serves to accredit all methodology for ore analysis held within the group as technically sound.

The facility utilises qualified and experienced chemists, metallurgical staff and highly trained technicians to operate analytical equipment.

Equipment includes ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) instrumentation with both Mass Spectrometry and Optical Emission Spectroscopy determination, X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometers, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometers as well as instruments dedicated to individual elemental determination. SGS Perth has also invested in new sample preparation technology. SGS Perth represents the SGS minerals international laboratory group.
