Our core business is focused on architecture, master planning, interiors, project definition and project management. We provide particular expertise in minor to major building upgrades, maintenance and remedial works projects and programmes. This expertise constitutes a significant portion of our project work and is of particular relevance to the Rosalie Park Redevelopment project. The range of experience includes:
•Building Assessment & Compliance Condition Reports and CAPEX Plans;
•Single and multiple project programme remedial, upgrade and compliance works projects in the range of $20k to $20.0M, and
•Generally all projects within a public realm context.
The majority of works undertaken by IWA are on behalf of an extensive portfolio of government agencies and institutional clients, including Building Management and Works, Department of Transport, WA Museum, WA Police and Curtin University. Consequently, IWA has a great deal of experience in working with government stakeholders, contracts, policies and procedures.
IWA has a proven ability to assess and simplify complex project and technical issues and present them to suit multiple stakeholders. Our ability to produce well-drafted and succinct documents, facilitate stakeholder interests and present outcomes to a broad audience in due to the many years of skills development, experience, understanding of issues, and the care and attention to detail upon which IWA prides itself.
Our reporting skills are highly refined. We routinely provide detailed minutes of Project Control Group meetings as well as providing monthly and key milestone reports, and executive reports and briefings as required. Importantly, we have the experience necessary to deliver high-level executive briefings for complex projects with the essential efficiency and accuracy demanded of such stakeholders.
IWA would also like to confirm our record-keeping procedures are highly refined and robust, with all documents appropriately filed for ease of retrieval and traceability - our projects administration system has a six tier base and 47 sub folder structure. Our systems have been developed from years of projects management, contracts administration, and contractual experience. Document storage and destruction is carried out in accordance with the State Records Act 2000.
Under the leadership of Ian Wilkes, with over 30 years of experience, the practice has gained a reputation for delivering high quality services and outcomes. All work is driven by a strong belief in the importance of enquiry, research and due diligence to provide reliable advice and creative solutions.
Our team strives to provide a personal, responsive and professional standard of service. Accordingly, should our practice be successful, the City of Subiaco can be assured of our commitment to satisfy the requirements of the contract with a clear aim to exceed expectations. (more)
