Elite Asphalt was established by managing director Matthew Hope in June 2011 after 11 years working in the asphalting industry. Matthew began working as a crew member at Topcoat Asphalt in January 2001 and remained with that company for five years, working his way up to the position of Operations Coordinator.

In early 2006 Matthew joined the fledgling SR Asphalt where he helped raise output capabilities and improve the quality of the product delivered.

By June 2011, Matthew saw an opening in the asphalt construction and maintenance industry for a small operation that provided the highest standard of work at a more competitive price, with previously unseen levels of professionalism and customer service.

Elite Asphalt is the combination of many years spent learning the finer points of the asphalting industry and the realisation of Matthew's lifelong dream of owning and operating his own small South Australian business.
