Do NOT use VDM under any circumstances. they are slow, unprofessional and overbill without providing... explanations. I have been charged over $16,000 for a job that is not yet complete (after 3 years) and I was orginally quoted $5000 for! they do not return calls, it took a month for them to even bother sending a council decision notice through to me (and charged me 9 hours for the priviledge of doing it) and as a professsional developer I am sorry but there is not one positive thing I can say about them.

As for his so called go kart Special Tees DO YOUR SELf A FAVOUR AND email me and I will gladly tell you all about how riped off I have been and still to this day disapointed myself and my 9yr old son are. I no words can speak a lot of tall tails but But the tail im about to tell is backed up by the go Kart I have still not been able to ride as it now runs like a old lawn mower stalls and pops and spits and after a elec starter installed by Dinki Di and guess what sometime we have to push it to start it due to brand new clutch that sticks. After 8 weeks and 3 times we took it back Ian ended up taking it to another go Kart shop who told me when I spoke to them they refused to touch it due to the can of worms they were afraid of opening and being blamed for. After talking to the work shop manger of the shop Ian sort refuge in still didn't really want to look at my Kart, as they Said to me due to the faulty work like the brand new elect starter that cost me $700 was suppose to cut out having to push start our cart which still to this day sometimes works sometime we have to push it and other times the clutch dose nothing but grind like bearings are stuffed . Also the complete over haul of the brakes,cabals,master cylinder,and brake pads that Ian fitted and never set up or ajusted so they actually worked was enough for the Kart shop to say sorry mate but for us to fix would mean having to redo a lot of the work Ian was suppose to have had done and as for any warranty issues due to the he said she said scenario who dose the warranty lie with . At the end of the day I as Quoted by Ian around $1200 and ended up paying $2500 for work that Montee his own work shop manger nearly fell over when I told him what he charged me also guys at the other go Kart shop (were Ian took our cart for them to get it runing} could not see or explain how or what cost 2500. I have asked Ian in Writing for a details break down of thecost and expence only to get a reply of AS FAR AS WE ARE CONCERNED YOUR GO KART IS NOW CLOSED So i guess this means in a nice way GO AWAY. I am more than willing to give the name and number of the Go Kart shop that Ian took our cart to. They will gladly tell who ever that Dinki Di makes some parts for go karts and from what they were asked to do would not take the wheel borrow to Dinki Di for any sort of repair or as in our case a few things we wanted to up date like elect starter and brake over haul. Also with out a even more expense on my behalf I cant get any other shop to even look at it. So now what was perfectly running machine is now nothing more than a 2500 unexplained piece of Dinki Dis finest and proudest hunk cofing splatering stalling unwanted junk that needs to be pushed at time to start only to stall again has not seen any part of a go Kart track in the 6 months I have owned it. Anyway to the forums I have read a fair bit of good about Dinki Di ENGINEERING and may just come across as a customer that you just cant satisfy Im here to tell you email me I can show the work on our Go Kart I can and will also point you to the guys that Ian took my kart to. Also I have Video footage of the Kart running before Ian and after Ian as well as many Phone convertaions with Ian and the best one of all Montee his work shop manger very clear and plain as day saying your kinding is that what he charged you. Unforanly from here not much eles we can do apart from try to make other people aware of the Name DINKI DI and at same time put it before the judde of the civil courts with the support and backing in writing from the other Go Kart work shop. PLEASE IF NOTHING ELES EMAIL ME I WILL GLADLY POINT YOU TO PEOPLE THAT WONT PROMISE YOU THING THAT WILL COST YOU MORE THAN IT SHOULD AND BETTER STILL KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING With Regards Shaun Richards Shaunrno1@live.com.au

I will never buy steel from the hardware store again
