Bought a Bate table (>$3300). Over 4 months for delivery then we needed the following repairs don...e; unstained shadowline, unsanded shadowline. gap between top and legs. Thonet sent someone down to us in Canberra to fix. A month late the bracing underneath the table became unglued on one side. This not only looked terrible, it's sharp and a definite hazard to knees, thighs and clothing. Again a repairer was sent to fix. This led to an ugly brace being fitted to the underside of the table. We later also found a large stain which was confirmed by Thonet’s repairer as a production fault. When this was raised with Thonet, we did not get a reply although the customer rep said they would be in touch. By this stage I was over it. The table is beautifully designed but badly manufactured. With all the problems we have experienced I would not recommend buying from them.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I got a lounge from them not long ago, I'm very hap...py indeed with my lounge. I was very impressed with the service, with regards to owner Aderito Garces, lovely man, he was fantastic, knew what he was doing and knew what we wanted. I will always buy Australian owned, and the quality I got with my lounge was very professional. I'm a happy customer indeed.
