My lighthearted romantic wedding ceremonies usually take around 20 minutes, they’re never boring, and no-one will fall asleep! I particularly like to use candles as symbolism to unite families, or remember loved ones who are no longer with us. I also use sand to symbolise blending families. Another ancient ritual is handfasting where the couples hands are tied together with ribbon or flax to emphasise their strong connection which can never be broken.
