The process is typically characterized by greater dialogue and communication and with less acrimony than litigated divorces. Couples and/or parents use our mediation service to reach decisions that minimize the adverse impact of divorce or parental disputes on families, while saving them time and Lawyer fees.

Queensland Mediation Agency Assist provides a comfortable environment at our Mediation Suites for separating couples or separated/divorced parents to resolve all aspects of their divorce or custody issues. Our family meditations can address custody, child support, co-parenting, equitable distribution of assets, or any other issues requiring decision or agreement. The proceedings are entirely discreet. Several of our Mediators are bilingual.

At Queensland Mediation Agency Assist, we recognize that a civil divorce is no small achievement. Our goal is to ensure that both parties feel that their issues are being acknowledged and addressed, so that life after divorce is less about what happened then and more about what will happen now. We offer a mediation orientation session at a reduced fee for couples who want to learn more about mediation itself, meet their mediator before proceeding, and take an opportunity to answer any questions you may have. If you choose to proceed with mediation, you can begin at the end of your orientation session or schedule a future session.
