"I am a contractor to this site and to other similar facilities. I have always found the site to be well maintained, the staff being attentive and courteous. At other facilities I have been confronted by naked people left lying on beds pleading me for a nurse as they'd been left for hours, the unfortunate smell of incontinence lingering on the air throughout the place. I never encountered this at Aubrey Downer, typically it reeks of cleanliness and fresh air. Should I ever need to make use of such a place my choice would be Aubrey Downer Memorial Orange Homes. "The Park is always kept in good order. Sometimes there is one or two other difficult residents but genrally a relaxed and peaceful environment. I undertsand that the current Owner has never been taken to the Tribunal on rental or other issues. I have read the other 2 reviews and believe that they are the work of another resident who is in the process of being evicted for verbally threatening staff and other residents, and consistently breaching Park rules that over 200 other poeple manage to abide by. He presently has an interim AVO against him by the Park Manager and has reacted against this with wild and unsubstantiated accusations. " (more)
