Ordered the beef roast of the day - $12. Meat was extremely fatty and roast veggies were dry and col...d. Ate aproximately 25% of the meal before deciding I couldn't eat it - took it back and explained why I wasn't happy and asked for a refund. The (presumably manager) told me it was normal and if I didn't like it why did I eat it! Was not getting anywhere so walked out. Not happy! Will not return and have told everyone at work - I work in the building above the cafe.

I bought a chicken wrap, little did I know that this was a few pieces of lettuce wrap, this 10cm lon...g wrap rolled up showing only the front in the display had 2 cms of dried chicken to the front and nothing in the back 8cms, I am not joking. I never complain and eat ANTHING, but I took this back and said this is disgusting you sell this and call it a chicken wrap, I don't want my money back but that is a joke, you can have it. Turned around and a couple with 2 children at table said we just got the same thing. I am now trying to complain to QLD consumers law so know else gets scammed this bad.

We bought a deal and didn't even get the value of what we paid for as most of the food was inedible.... It looked like it had been sitting in the hot box for most of the day and tasted like it too. I would never go back there - I don't know why places offer deals on websites to attract new customers when they don't deliver what is advertised.

Definite fan of this cafe! They know how to make coffee and you can tell the owners love coffee and ...all that goes with it! Its inside the St Ives Goodna Shopping Centre, so you need to park and walk in. But it is completely worth it. The prices are cheaper considering the high quality of food and coffee they offer. The customer service is genuinely honest and friendly, the kind of service you rarely see these days. They know their regulars and make the effort with new comers. I wouldn't waste my time going anywhere else. If you love coffee at a great price, come here. They use 'Merlo' coffee by the way! That's my fave! Save your breath driving to Orion to the Merlo coffee shop because they are expensive and the customer service there sucks(from first hand experience, the last time i was there both staff members were too busy trying to chat up passerby's rather then serving the three customers who were obviously standing there waiting)! From a coffee lover to another, go here! It may not be the most upmarket cafe around, but its exceptionally clean of basic style and just the right size for locals!
