Remedial Massage Therapy
A light massage that is aimed at targeting the joints and muscles affected during pregnancy. e.g. lower back. Special pregnancy pillows are used so that the client may lay either on her stomach or in a side lying position.
Myofascial Cupping Massage:
Cupping is usually combined with a deep tissue massage. The cups are suctioned onto the skin drawing toxins from the deeper layers and allowing them to be expelled through the blood stream.
Trigger Point Therapy:
Manual pressure applied to points located in a tight band of muscle fibres that deactivate local and referred pain. Usually combined with deep tissue massage.
Sports Massage/Deep tissue:
A deeper, quicker massage that focuses on the deeper layers of muscles. Designed for consistent pain, sustained through injury or physical activity.
A sequence of long slow strokes that relax the body and de-stress the mind. Can be combined with aromatherapy. A good combination if you have never experienced massage before.
Essential oils are combined to create a unique mix to suit the individuals needs and absorbed through the skin with gentle therapeutic massage.
