"It was a great weekend away and exactly what we needed. By far the best hospitality of any hotel we have stayed at, they feel welcomed without overcrowding us. They were very helpful; providing suggestions for things to do, places to eat and kindly arranged dinner reservations etc for us. I would definitely recommend staying at here, you will love it! "The Blarney stone is my new local in Yarraville & it has been a while since i felt able to recommend such a comforting Hotel. The owner made sure i got home safely one night after leaving the Hotel quite late, so i think thats a big responsible tick in favour of there good will & safety of there patrons. I absolutely love the roast of the day @ $10.50 it is tasty value for money & saves me the time & the hassle of doing it at home. I love catching up with friends, a roast, a drink, a laugh at this pub its fantastic. The staff are friendly & professional meeting all types of personalities that frequent this Hotel with respect & educated manners. I feel at home when i come here & I highly reccomend it to everyone to support this great value locals, workers, social pub. I used to own Fruits of Passion in Kensington & two fingers in the cbd & cafe smooch in Middle park & Maryannes in Apollo bay so i know a thing or two about hospitality & something worth sharing. My background as a head chef in many established boutique Hotels & wine bars & personal chef forone of Australias richest men has given me the skills & watchfull eye of good establishments that offer unique fare and this is definitely one of them.
