The Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park and Camping Ground is the largest camping ground on the Surf Coast, covering approximately 30 acres of Crown Land reserve. The Torquay Caravan Park is a fantastic beachfront camp ground at the start of the Great Ocean Road with plenty of family-friendly camp sites and onsite accommodation. You can hear the waves breaking on Torquay Surf Beach which is a great spot for surfing, swimming, fishing and walking and we are within easy walking distance of the Torquay shopping centres. ACCOMMODATION The Park is rated 3.5 STARs and offers accommodation from camping sites through to deluxe cabins. There are 28 on-site accommodation and 647 camping sites. We provide accommodation for approximately 200,000 people per year. Campsites: 220 annual sites, 300 seasonal sites and 140 powered camping sites. We offer affordable camping and onsite accommodation, all in picturesque natural leafy settings and located only a short stroll to Lorne's pristine beach and shops, restaurants and cafes. LORNE Lorne is a very popular beach tourist resort town, located on one of the state's most scenic coastal routes, the Great Ocean Road, between Anglesea and Apollo Bay. ACCOMMODATION Rated 3 STARS, our park features 401 powered camp sites and 22 on-site accommodation cabins and units, all in picturesque natural settings. Lorne's five caravan parks have camping sites suitable for a range of caravans, motor homes, vans and tents. Studio Cabins are fully self-contained cabins for 2 people. Features include queen size bed with linen, ensuite, kitchen, microwave oven and colour TV. Erskine Cabins are self-contained cabins with ensuites, kitchen with microwave oven, double bed, triple bunk beds and colour TV. Otway Cabins are self-contained cabins (no ensuite), conveniently located near an amenity block with shower and laundry facilities. Features include double bed with 2 double bunk beds, kitchen with hotplates, oven, fridge and colour TV. Top Bank Caravan Park (seasonal park): Running along the Erskine River this park is located right on the beautiful Lorne foreshore with great access to all the beach has offer. 95 sites: 47 powered sites, 8 un-powered sites plus 40 additional un-powered sites (only open at limited times). 2 amenities blocks with showers, toilets, laundry (in 1 block), playground and BBQs. Queens Park Caravan Park (seasonal park): Queens Park is nestled into the gentle bush covered hill side above the Lorne Pier offering extensive views of Lorne and its surrounds. Nearby is the stunning Teddy's Lookout which provides panoramic views of the coast where the St.George River spills out into the ocean and the elevated platform is a great place for whale watching and viewing the spectacular summer sunsets. This seasonal caravan park offers peace and serenity tucked away in a more secluded location on Armytage Street, approximately 2km south of the centre of Lorne. There are 71 sites, one amenities block with showers, toilets and laundry, disabled toilet, baby change room, playground and undercover BBQs. The Park is managed by the Great Ocean Road Coast Committee, a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that cares for much of the coast along the Great Ocean Road between Torquay and Lorne.
