The design is American style reverse flow offset - this moves you beyond simply grilling and into the world of slow smoking and barbecuing. The difference is this; the heat and smoke are drawn through the cooking chamber indirectly, the indirect heat is the secret to producing moist, super tender meat with that rich smoky flavour. cook chamber is 6mm thick rolled plate c/w solid heat baffle plate, drip tray & ball valve drain.
Removable dual cooking shelves allow for variable size cuts.
Tests confirm approximately 5-10 degrees F variance from end to end.
The preparation tray can fold down, the chimney stack and counterweight can be unbolted for ease of handling and storage.
The firebox is complete with twin air vent manual Temp controls & a removable slide out ash tray for ease of clean-out
The whole unit is very stable, well balanced and can be rolled along on its custom designed wheels quite readily.
