Mr Shoe Repair

"Very impressed. I'm new to Geelong and was struggling to find a shoe repair service that was more than just a heel bar. I'd found the one in Waurn Ponds unhelpful, expensive and unsatisfactory, and was easy to give up, then I found this place. The shoe repairer looked over my boots, asked me to put them on, got down on his knees with a tape measure and jotted down some figures, then said yes, no problem, come back in 2 days. And which I did to find he had tapered the back seam of my knee high boots so that instead of being baggy, they were a perfect fit. Really speedy, professional job, and he only charged me $18! Where in Waurn Ponds, I had been told that it was too difficult to tackle, and if they did have a go, it would cost about $70 with no guaranteed result! I have a couple more pairs of boots which are a bit too loose, and with that level of repair at that price, I will be taking them straight to Mr Shoe Repair. Highly recommended to anyone looking for good old fashioned repairs, service and prices. " (more)
