Classic Sportswear is a privately owned company and has been manufacturing sportswear apparel since 1934. In 2005 Classic purchased the business and property of Top Heavy and expanded into Licensed and Special Event merchandise. Classic employs over 75 staff with our direct sales team servicing NSW and QLD, agents manage the remaining retail markets in Australia and New Zealand.

The Classic Sportswear brand is recognised throughout the sporting industry as a quality and reliable product with its ability to produce small runs of custom designed sports apparel at competitive prices. Also part of its winning edge is the exceptional customer service that the staff provides to all of our clients.

Classic operates out of a 4,400m² building owned by the two executive directors and is located only 5km from the CBD of Sydney. Knitting, sublimated printing, pressing, cutting, sewing and embroidery facilities are all 'in-house'. This makes Classic Sportswear a unique business where it has total control of its production capabilities. Classic also has partners throughout Asia for large volume production runs.

Classic Sportswear has a substantial in-house design department facilitating 'excellence in design', with experiences in designing ranges from Athletic apparel to Street Wear to Baby Wear. This department is like finance, a shared resource to other companies in the Classic group.

The focus going forward is innovative performance apparel based on exceptional fabrics, fit and performance combined with professional reliability and service to our customers.
